Cynthia Taylor-Luce If this is a hand-knotted wool carpet, then it will stand up to water as long as you exercise ordinary care. These carpets are hand washed after they are made, and when you take them to a professional for cleaning they are cleaned with lots of water. This is a very luxurious bathroom, so I would expect it would be used by adults who would towel themselves off before coming out of the shower. There's lots of room to do that, it seems.
