walls for basement

I have a old but good condition burgundy sectional. The walls need repainting. Mid way up I have white beadboard. any suggestions what colors would look decent with the burgundy sofa??? help!!!

Hi there, What color did you end up using? Without a photo it's hard to say, but my initial reaction is that a beige, grey or yellow might work.
