Marble as backsplash tile
I love the look of marble tile as a backsplash, but have been told that it could stain. Has anyone experienced staining on marble or tumbled marble backsplash. Is it easy to seal and does it work?

Keerthi Naidu Hi carol1965, I came across this Ideabook that might have some useful tips to help you decide of marble will work for you:

Travis Robert Renovations Marble can stain as it is more porous than other surfaces but would not be afraid to use it as a backsplash... With proper care and maintenance, marble will add a timeless look to most spaces... Happy Renovating!!

REVE Design Studio, Inc. Of you use marble, which is always a nice option, be sure to seal it with a good stone sealer. I use DuPont BulletProof or a product called SK40.
