Can I paint laminate flooring?
Caitlin Woodbury
August 8, 2012 in Design Dilemma
I have a laminate wood floor in our bedroom. Is it possible to paint laminate and is it even worth it in cost and durability?

Hi kkwoodbury, Now that's a question I've never seen asked before! Did you go for it with the paint? Would love to hear how it went. Any pics you can share?

I sure hope you didn't paint it, kkwoodbury! If you did, it would only be a temporary fix, and then you'd have no option but to tear it out and start over :(

No, I haven't done it yet. I was just wondering if you could. Thanks for letting me know!

I think there would be a problem with adhesion, but I am not an expert. I would contact a specialist or even a local Benjamin Moore Store and ask their opinion.
