decoenthusiaste Go for almost a cedar color, which should be easy with your stucco. Try replacing the retaining wall, porch and brick steps with a stone wall and steps. Remove the wall backets and install redwood flower boxes. Keep with the idea of xeriscaping the flower bed. You may want to stain the drive a darker color once you've painted the house cedar.
hillsdale Custom built redwood flowerboxes to fit the entire width of the large windows in front, along with fresh tan paint and new landscaping would be a great start. When choosing your window flower box design, consider also heavy wood brackets for support, plus makes the window apear that much larger. Also consider how outdoor lighting would add interest to your home at night. whatever your mulching material, I would change it to the darkest brown, too, as it stays fresh looking longer, AND the color would look great with your window color.
ktinainsworth I think the house would look great in gold, lighter shades of green or a color close to white. The windows might look neat with modern looking awnings.
mmonika Right now it looks like everything is 'concrete' so a warm color will look great. A rich tan would look great on the stucco walls of the house. I would paint the doors a warm reddish color.
Keep the windows black ( or are they black?) but add some nice thick trim around them. I would paint the trim in the same shade as the house but much lighter.
I would do the garden walls the same as house to bring continuity and flow from house to gardens.
I agree with staining the driveway too, but save it for last to see how the rest is looking.
Carolina Photo To Go LLC Everyone goes crazy for the pics of white Greek houses. I put Mediterranean in Houzz browser and many exterior picts came up. You might want to take a look. A lot were white with brown or black around the windows.
