Need help with wall paint color & Granite!!
I need help, need any suggestions on color for wall that will match good with my warm cinnamon vanity and which color granite would go with this color vanity, I put picture of our floor tile, not sure how good you can see it, the vanity photo is from where we got it, we did not buy any top or sink yet, this photo has a black granite, we don't want black. Thanks so much for any help! Please leave names of paint colors & who it's by, same with granite. Or if you can just give me advice on things you think might go well. We are about to get to the point where we will need to know, so any help would be appreciated! Thank you! Denise in MD.

Deborah Butler, Brickwood Builders Denise Hi, glad you posted your question and provided the pictures.

We have done some similar color tones of vanity and flooring - assuming my monitor is picking up color accurately. Depending upon where you are in MD, you probably have access to some good granite warehouses. I am going to post a link to the one we use here in Greensboro for you to peruse and get some ideas. Assuming the remaining tile in the room (shower, etc.) is as neutral as your floor, we like Typhoon Bordeaux, Juparana Tier Ivory, African Ivory. If you want to get out of the box some, there is Brunello Brushed and Copper Dune, both of which are stunning but darker. Two other dark options that are a bit more cost effective would be Cranberry Brown or Dakota Mahogany.

There are some great color experts on this site that can chime in on wall color. Of course the wall color will also depend upon the countertop selection.

Good Luck and enjoy you new room.

Stoneshop Hi Denise,

I agree & definately advise you to pick out your stone first, & then choose a paint color from there.

Here are some granite options for you to consider:
Kashmir Gold: http://www.ohmintl.com/live-inventory/kashmir-gold.html
Kashmir White: http://www.ohmintl.com/live-inventory/kashmir-white.html
**these both have burgundy flecks that will tie in nicely with the cinnamon vanity**
Labrador Gold: http://www.ohmintl.com/live-inventory/labrador-gold.html
New Venetian Gold: http://www.ohmintl.com/live-inventory.html?link_id=274&link_name=NEWVENETIANGOLD&task=viewslabs

If you want something a little funky & different, try Rainforest Green or Rainforest Brown:

Also, if you want to cut costs, try to going to a slab gallery & viewing their remnant pieces. You can often get them for a discounted price.

Hope this helps!

Denise Thanks Stoneshop!!!! will look at the links... We have a friend who builds houses, well not the actual house, but puts in the tiles in the new homes, builds walls ect. He is working for free for us on his spare time, One thing he couldnt do was the plumbing, electrical, but my brother was able to do that & put the radiant heated floor in. Its so nice to know someone!! :) we are just paying for all the stuff we want, he knows a granite guy, and is going to be coming by soon, hopefully with in a week, to show us some samples, and going to give us a good deal, hopefully a great deal!! LOL this bathroom we made bigger is costing more then we thought!!!! And that's with free labor! LOL. Thank you again to everyone's suggestions!!! Have a great day!!!
