Hot, sunny "L" Shaped Deck needed some shade and Personality!
12x14 section that was the hottest during the day. I hired contractor to build a fiberglass cover over it. Then I found a fabulous canvas fabric and some festive beaded trim and sewed for 20 hours making the curtains. Then one project led to another, and I added a custom painted water feature and a outdoor fireplace which I use gel fuel logs for safety. I added lighting and table/chairs and seating. Beautiful carpet on the section of the deck that was covered. Any more ideas or comments would be very helpful!

bebailey Beautiful! What kind of fabric did you use? Will it hold up to uv rays?

Wallmark Homes Great look so far, is the space fully closed in now or does it still vent?
