From what I can see, it looks like the mirror wall (perpendicular to the slider) might be a good place for a credenza that served as a wine station. Do you have more photos of the room you can share?

Manon Floreat Oh - yes, I think I would place a credenza/wine buffet/sidboard - whatever - along the wall where you have the console. A pretty tray atop it could hold a decanter and some glasses and below a place for your stash. Fun idea!
