New built small village, help wanted
These four houses are located on the Istrian peninsula in Croatia. They are located ten kilometers from the sea and conceptually built in a Mediterranean style. Their purpose is tourism. The problem that I have encountered in the main project are the lack of space inside the house, small bedroom, closed plan layout and a miniature garden where every house should have its own pool.
Deficiencies in the house we have solved the modification garage to the bedroom and demolishing a few walls to get a space. Since the idea of presenting the house as a whole, although each should have its own character, I encountered a major problem.
Should be the same color facade (?), While I was going to put the darker colors that are appropriate for this area (terracotta or something similar) and dark green shutters. Or go for lighter versions so that each house has its own color?
I'm stuck. Please Help.

Sigrid Are you selling these houses or renting them? If selling, make them different. If renting, the same is fine. If you converted the garage into a bedroom, make sure it has plenty of windows.

Pools require lots of maintenance. Who's going to provide it? The homeowner? Are they going to live here year-round or come on weekends? The rental company? Will they have the staff to do that?

Marie Hebson's interiorsBYDESIGN Inc. Hi Antwerp, Marie here. I am a branding expert and interior designer. You need to ask yourself some key questions. If they are your properties, and you'll be renting all of them - tie-in the look of the units into your corporate brand. By thoughtfully designing with that in mind, it will create a "mood" or "ambiance" that can be quaint, elegant, spa-like, or boho. Just a few trigger words that should spark your imagination on starting your collection of images of what you want one unit to look like, and what elements you would want to have different - even IF you are selling - you still want them to have both curb appeal, individuality, and harmony amongst each of the units. This I would NOT take lightly - you should hire a professional to help you outline the general feel of the compound - then, discover the individuality of each unit with subtle changes (eg: same feeling, but different colour palette for each unit - inside and out). Trust me - it is worth the planning - and collecting of imagery - then finding those materials that coincide with your corporate brand. Good Luck - and, I am available for hire should you need some assistance in this. Good Luck!
Don't know what branding is? Here's a quick summation:http://www.slideshare.net/lipmanhearne/developing-a-brand-strategy

Antwerp Thank you for the comments. All these houses are for rent and each will have a special treatment. Yet the problem remains of how they fit into the environment. Around the unspoiled nature, and the houses are poorly designed, whether dark facade further emphasize imperfections?
If you connect all the houses with the same wrought iron fence, the same color of the facade (and on each facade put a stone in a different version) I think it would be interesting, and yet each would have slightly different.
But the main dilemma remains; bright or dark facade?
I am prone to dark because I like to achieve a dramatic note. However, I would like to hear other opinions.
Marie, thank you very much for the link!
