Kitchen Before and After
We took out a wall separating two rooms and made a large kitchen. We had to install a steel beam to hold the roof up on this job.

lyrics1967 I was hoping to see the actual before....like before the tear down? This is a true before picture. What did it look like before the tear down and the wall removal and was brought to the updated condition?

Barbara Ceo Peninsulas with cupboards at one end are the hardest to reach. It even looks like counter in kitchen is at an angle, which will make it harder to reach from left, unless you and everyone who uses the kitchen is over 6 ft. tall I think it may be an improvement, but can't see real before pics., but it is a little blah.

liriol Nice job, we are doing something similiar very soon. Could you share the dimensions of the room as I'm curious how it relates to our upcoming remodel. Thanx!

Freedom Homebuilders, Inc. The before was two rooms. An office and a small kitchen. The office was 12' x 10' and it is was at the far wall. The kitchen was 9' x 10'. The layout for this kitchen was designed more for two people that work together on meals. The husband loves to cook and the wife loves to prep the food. This layout gave them the space to keep them from running into each other. I agree that this kitchen is a little impractical for a one cook setup due to the size of the working triangle.

Paradise Restored Landscaping & Exterior Design Well it wont be blah when the cooks put some life in it - I think it is a great kitchen - especially for people who cook a lot - Like the island for chit-chatting or when the cook takes a 5 minute break to taste a recipe as it is cooking - plenty of seating areas for groups when entertaining! Nice work Freedom!
