Want to do this to my dining room table but how do I incorporate that design into the adjoining living room
My table will be brown wood on top and painted turquoise on the legs and my chairs will be painted white with a colorful fabric on the seat. I was thinking I would incorporate those colors into my living room that is connected to my dining room by adding a few accents with the same colors. I wouldn't paint the wall like in this picture but I'd use throw pillows.

AMN I think you've got a good handle on it. You could even make (or have made) pillows using the same fabric, or just find some complementary ones.

mswilder Just to make sure you know and aren't on the tail end of a fading design trend, turquoise was color of the year two years ago. If you truly love the color then go with it no matter what the trends.

olldbobbi Throw pillows, a throw, candles, maybe even edge your draperies/curtains with the same color!
