In hanging artwork what can you mix with watercolors?

lefty47 HI -- Anything and all art can hang with watercolors . Prints , photos, oils and so on .

lb8087 My mother is under the impression you cannot hang an oil painting with watercolor pictures. She has 4 Rottenburg Germany pictures and will not hang a beautiful oil painting of Bavaria in with them.

Hate to disagree with your mom, but yes, you can mix mediums (both next to each other or in the same work). The key is to have paintings/photos/mirrors of the same theme like German landscapes, the same era like Impressionism, the same frame style like all black modern or the same/complimentary frame color like antique gold.
