Need help with hanging an art
Hi, I want to hang a vertical picture on a big blank wall. Ii'm in a delima as to how to hang this vertical picture on this big wall. I was thinking of adding two picture frames to it or something but the picture looks too narrow to be on the big wall? help.....also, I already hanged a group of picture frames artistically and hanging this picture on a narrow wall means it will be close to the picture frames I already hanged. So i've got to figure out a way to hang this narrow vertical picture on my big wall. Help, any pictures or anyting?

I cant upload pix of my rooom right now cuz my internet is slow/. thanks.

Dytecture It's a good idea to try it out on the floor first or have paper cut outs of the art you are looking to hang and play around on the wall until you like them.

Charmean Neithart Interiors, LLC. Consider creating interest on your wall with paint and then add your picture. Here is an example...
Vanessa De Vargas / Turquoise L.A. 1
Add painted squares or rectangles and layer them with your art piece. Use colors that are already in your room from fabrics or from the art piece itself. Hope that helps. Charmean Neithart

Yaw Ansong hi charmean, your idea looks great but I'm in a college dorm so I cant really add paint. Can I get a flat coloured carboard instead and paste it on the wall, so it serves as the 'paint sort of' then put the art on it? the horizontal piece is as long as the frammed wall papers in boby p's post...help

Charmean Neithart Interiors, LLC. H there, ok couple options...
Try searching for vinyl wall murals in the product section on Houzz. Also you can search Etsy, here is an example...

These are removable and you can create lot's of great looking stuff.
Also, there is a product by Casart Coverings that you should look into. This is removable wallpaper that comes in beautiful patterns and colors. The paper can be cut into any shape like squares or rectangles and again, removeable so it would work for dorm rooms. Here is their Houzz profile...

Yaw Ansong nice idea, ba does that mean I'll throw away my painting I already bought? is the cardboard idea stupid?

apennameandthata Just hang it and add more pictures later.

Charmean Neithart Interiors, LLC. No, don't throw away your painting. Just layer it it on top of these other ideas. I wouldn't use cardboard, that won't look finished enough. Look into these removable options. That will work.

nadine designer touch use your picture and also use other art works next to it. you and even use blank picture frames and layer them.
2nd option would be to use your art work and to make the wall look more finished and take away from the vertical effect add couple of sconces on each side. But make sure they are at least 24" on length. (the longer the better). Try pier 1 and also Kirkland if you have any in your area.

Yaw Ansong thanks all....I think from all we've said, I'll use a wall paper as an accent wall sort of, then put the vertical stuff on the wall and add scones on each side. Thanks.
