Help with this floor transition --tile to marble
This area is a small hallway that leads from the main living area to the formal living room. It is a three foot width. The transition is from tile to marble. It looks awkward and is very noticeable.

Dar Eckert If you can't match the tile replace the hall with something entirely different like a dark wood.

Capua Custom Tile & Stone Do you want to replace one element or simply tidy it up? Frankly, it's a terrible lay-out choice from the installer, and should have been addressed at the time of installation. Now that it's in, your choices for tying it all together are fairly limited. You could have the 8" band at the threshold cut out (carefully) and replaced with a mosaic to tile both rooms together while obfuscating the missalignmet of the joints. Or you could elect to use a product from Schluter Systems called RENO-T which will bridge the transition joint only. Here's a link.

Best of luck,
