crystalsymbol Hi again,i am interested in 2 different colors even 3 to make it modern because now it is very classic and conservative,dividing perhaps the different colours between balconies main walls and syroundings.The front door is placed and it is the same colour of the windows. Thank you.

lee CALISTI architecture+design Have you just considered white with a gray or blue windows and balconies? If you're really feeling bold, here is a Greek modern house with bold terra cotta colors.

crystalsymbol Hello,thank you for the answer. Unfortunately in things thatare that permanent i am not very bold...Ireally like your idea of white with gray balconies. Do you think it will look fine with my windows and doors? I cannot change them to another color.

olldbobbi I would suggest you stay away from dark colors that will absorb the heat. Instead I would take my inspiration from the sea, perhaps a watery blue for the body of the house, and an off-white for the balconies. Both of those colors will go well with your windows and doors.

Add some plants to your balconies: [houzz=Chicago Residence] or plants on a grander scale: [houzz=Old School Vegas]

lee CALISTI architecture+design If you use grays, they should be cool grays that have some blue or blue/green in them. The brown/orange color of the windows will be complimented by a bluish/green color. Like Bobbi P, I think the house needs some plants and finer detail like that.

Dytecture Pure white might be more in line with local architecture.

Bobbi,you are right about the dark colors,of course the plants will be the protagonists over here,lucky me not to live on one of the very dry and rocky greek islands.

Lee, i loved the first foto of yours and i started thinking about it. I love the white details in the second foto but this is mostly late 19th early 20th on my island. I was looking to buy a house of that century but they were too expensive. Riproducing it on a house of a 2012 construction for me would be just imitating what i couldnt have,you know what i mean right?

Thank you all very much for your suggestions. I keep searching fotos for painted houses with brown colored, wood like alumin windows but it is very hard even to find fotos of painted houses that are close to the southern european style and they are not villas on the Amalfi coast or Capri! Do you have any sites to recomend me? Thank you again.
