Are the crate & barrel dishes heavy?

corajudd Yes. They're beautiful, they look good stacked on a shelf, and the proportions are really nice but they're heavy and they take up a LOT of room in the dishwasher. Also, Costco sells this set with a shallow stew bowl as well.
