Spanish Ranch to Contemporary in Two Phases
We took a one-story ranch house in Bel-Air, and completely transformed the house in Phase One. Years later, we added a complimentary two-story wing built into the hillside.

Tobias Architecture Thank you. We didn't start out with that in mind. However when we realized that the front corner of the Living Room (at the far right of the "before" photo) was too short for a good Christmas Tree, we "hinged" the low end up from the ridge to double the wall height. That created the very strong shed roof aesthetic, which we decided to carry through the entire project.

Paradise Restored Landscaping & Exterior Design The ceilings really are phenomenal and your story about how your shed roof aesthetic came about - interesting! Thank you for sharing - could see many more photos of this home -
