Need to help remodel my basement.
I really need help remodel my old basement. I don't know what should I start with it? I just want warm family room downstairs and my husband want mini bar. What should I do?

houssaon First thing you should do is go through the things that have accumulated in the basement and sort out what should be kept, what should be donated and what should be thrown away! It is easier to do this with someone. Even if you need a professional organizer.

Darzy It looks like the space may be large enough to include a mini-bar and have a family space. Can you show more pictures and dimensions?

lefty47 HI -- Because of the age of this room - guessing 1950's - for safety sake it should all come out -- down to the studs .... because you will need to rewire and insulate and first thing --- PLEASE check for "asbestose" before you tear into it .Get a pro in to check ! The room needs a redesign anyway.
