Need advice asap. on mixing two different colors in cabinetry.
I have to let my kitchen cabinetry company know colors next week. Doing white on the perimeter of the kitchen. Espress on the island.
If you look at my pictures you will see a doorway. In that door way yet on the same wall as the white cabinets will be a desk with cabinets above the desk. What about doing that in espresso also or should I keep the cabinets all white?

Deborah Butler, Brickwood Builders I don't see a desk area in any of the drawings either, but if it is completely separated from the remainder of the kitchen it could be done in the espesso color - just remember that you are then making it a focal point for the kitchen. Is that what you want to do?

Donald If the desk is on the perimeter then stick to white and let the espresso island be...an island of espresso!

Gabberts Design Studio I would have the desk made in espresso. I personally think it's more classic looking for its function.

Aggie Purvinska This needs work. The fridge wall is a big monster and the glass mullion doors are all bunched up by the hood only, the whole thing needs more air and space, can you send me your floor plan, let me re-draw before you spend 40K. Free.

missangel99 AggieDesigns the wall area now has an open shelf above the refrigerator. Too late design was finalized and I already paid half down. That wall has a double wall oven and a sub-zero fridge. I appreciate the help anyway.

missangel99 Production started. They said the focal point would be the wall with the hood and the double stacked cabinets. It's a large kitchen I don't think it will be as bad as you say. Thanks anyway,
