Help me pick out hardwood floor colorfor my new construction home!!
I don't have pictures. I am building a traditional style home, I will have mahogany kitchen cabinets, and mahogany furniture, the living, dining, kitchen area is open floor plan. I don't like dark rooms so what color hardwood flooring/ tiles do you suggest I use to compliment my furniture and cabinets? Thanks!

Manon Floreat Yes, a light oak will be a nice counterpoint the deep mahogany.

If you're looking for a respite from the wood, travertine is quite beautiful as well:
