Manon Floreat You have a rather contemporary kitchen and I don't know that you can convert it into a country traditional kitchen without some significant renovation work. Why not work with what you have, but add some country elements? Painting the cabinet doors white, wood blinds, a colorful area rug and a Windsor chair for the counter are some easy DIY options that are relatively inexpensive.

I'd like to see some wall mounted shelving to free up some counter space and provide more storage. A pot rack above the cook top is another classic country kitchen staple - with copper cookware!

I'd hire a professional to come out and give you a colour consultation from your area. Have as many swatches and samples of products you can afford, so that professional can help you choose the very best one. Good Luck with your project.

Dytecture I agree the cabinets are quite contemporary and I wouldn't recommend modifying them. Considering adding some 'traditional' touches to the kitchen.

in fact, my cabinet doors are made of glass with aluminum frame. so,I can't paint it over.
also, I have no enough space to place all my kitchen stuff. so, I decided to makeover my kitchen. I would like to change the existing aluminum glass door to wooden door.and also, make more door in area A ( refer to attached photo) so that I got more room for my stuff.
from contemporary to traditional is quite a hard job, but I just love the country look.
