Cottage Kitchen before and after
Although this kitchen stayed in its orginal location, we were able to widen it by relocating a basement stair to the center of the house, and add light by means of a larger window over the sink and a dramatic double skylight well. Of course, the requisite semi-custom cabinets, marble and quartz countertops, and high end appliances helped out a bit as well. :o)

Studio S Squared Architecture, Inc. Thank you for all of the nice comments...this house is in fact one of our favorite projects, and it was made possible by a very special client. The most important thing that I never learned in architecture school, is that it is great clients that make for great projects!

mmilos Oh, is this the same house you posted on the exterior shots...that Menlo Park Craftsman?
That kitchen window could have gone quite a bit taller, especially if you ditched the soffits.

That is one massive work triangle!

I like the finishes...very classic.
