Quartz Countertop dilemma
I am having difficulty in choosing a quartz countertop for my Kitchen.
Considering caesarstone and Cambria in white-ish tones.
Colours considered are: Cambria whitehall, torquay, Caesarstone eggshell.
The floor tile is attached.
Ideabook: Kitchen tile
The colour of the cabinets is brown with plum undertones, similar to the shown here:
Ideabook: similar cabinets.
I am inclined to do a white-ish countertop but wonder whether a eggshell caesarstone or whitehall cambria may be too plain looking..?
Also tempted by Cambria Torquay but would like your opininon in whether it would clash with the pattern of the tile.

Advice needed and appreciated.
Time is not on my side, please help!
Thank you.

Amy Burke @ Florida Custom Marble Hello Lrhome! If I'm not mistaken Torquay has more "taupe" veining rather than beiges. I am not not one to matchy match either. It would look good but I feel that Dovedale would be even better but Torquay won't bad esp when you may have colors in that direction elsewhere. Ref Caesarstone, they have Buttermilk which is nice and would def work for your decor. Eggshell is ok but it may as well be any quartz and Caesarstone isn't cheap. Best of luck!

ruthmand You may want to take a look at Cambria Snowdon White. I have that in my kitchen with dark wood cabinets and it looks great. The flecks are quite small and in varying shades of taupe and light gray, The background is very white. You do need to bring samples home and put them up next to your cabinets, tile and flooring as the colors on the website are deceiving. Whatever you pick, you will love your quartz countertops!

lrhome Thank you both, I really appreciate your feedback. As I've been thinking more about it, I'm beginning to lean towards the marble look for the counter and backsplash. I have a stainless steel/glass canopy hood and I was hoping the gray/cool tones of the Torquay would pick up the colour of the stainless steel appliances and make the hood pop. I don't want to enforce the beige on anything above the counters. i think I want to stay with whites/grays and the marble look, just like in the kitchen I attached as an example. I was worried if you think that the marble pattern on the torquay is too busy for the floor. Thanks again.

Stoneshop The Torquay would look wonderful--it definately has that "marble" feel that you're going for. Silestone's Lyra is also very similar.

lrhome thanks, Stoneshop. I was able to see a Torquay slab in person and I find it a bit busy for me. So I'm back to the whites. I don't find them plain anymore, for some reason. Saw some awesome designs with white countertops and dark cabinets. Considering Caesarstone blizzard, eggshell and Cambria whitehall. Any advice?

Amy Burke @ Florida Custom Marble Lrhome, saw the update and wanted to give you some input. Here are a few whites that I typically offer. Hanstone Bianco Canvas, Zodiaq Snow White, Lg Viaterra Ultra White and Snow Storm, Silestone White Zues Extreme, Cambria White Cliff (I believe has not been re-released for production yet) and White Hall. I have also come across a Quartz called Pompeii and they have from I have heard the Whitest white on the market called Extra Extra, you can visit my distributors site to see it and if they have any suppliers near you umistone.com. Best of luck to you!

ruthmand I think any of your three choices would be fine. Solid white is very stark against the dark cabinets and gives them a very modern look. A tiny pattern or variation in color softens the white a bit and keeps every crumb from showing.
