Ross NW Watergardens What are you planning on having in the area? Just lawn and planting beds? Or are there other elements you are wanting to incorporate?
olldcan I think the curvy line is excellent, who ever thought a snapped chalk line was a good way to start outside anyway. Looks like there was 2 separate pads initially poured then connected at a later date. Staining everything would give it a more cohesive look. I would do a gravel/decorative rock about 18" in depth and follow the curve. This way when you spray off the concrete your not making a mud mess. I wouldn't plant the entire cure next to the gravel/decorative rock, leave generous access to the yard. Keeping all plantings about 2' away will ensure you don't block more light from entering your patio. The 4x4's give you nice framework should you choose to plant something that climbs
Steve Andrews I plant on renovating this place into something mid-century modern. It's on a 10,000 sq ft lot so I have nothing but space. The patio doesn't stop at that brick wall...there's more more more.
I'm torn on what elements I should incorporate in this patio space (this is the view I see looking out from the kitchen).
@candace. I'm sort of a newb here. Can you describe "cure"?
olldcan thats curve without the typo, sorry. I'll go back and correct. Wow that is a big yard, nice. Would you consider a pond. I attached a few pics of my yard for inspiration. Every time I see a blank canvas like yours I wan't to start digging :)
