Remodeling and building on to a 100 year old house
This is mind boggling for me! Where can I find "inventory sheets" so I can organize my choices for all the different needs for each room?

nmadias9808 Dont live in it with children while remodeling.Friends kids got lead poisoning this way. They tried living downstairs during upstairs remodel. Not worth it if kids test positive for lead.2 cents.

Deborah Butler, Brickwood Builders Interesting. We have internal documents but they include more than just finishes. We walk our clients through the process so never thought of having something to hand out. Tried a google search and could not find anything online.

jbgb Thank you for looking for a source to help me. I guess I can make one myself. Trouble is I am not always sure what is needed and would like to have it all organized.

michigammemom Here's a link to some downloadable checklists. Also check in some of the construction magazine issues. I used a comprehensive checklist published in Log Home Living when we built out home.

PH Interiors, LLC Hi jbgb, for my larger projects like this, I create a simple spreadsheet, one sheet for each room. I create each sheet with headings like lighting, flooring, paint colors (brand & name or #), drapery fabrics, furniture fabrics, etc. I can then sort it by one of those headings so I can see at a glance the items needed for the whole project. I'm not aware of any software package that is specifically designed for this so I just do it myself. I also track expenditures here too so at any point, I know what I've spent so far.

ct design studio I, similar to PH like to use excel for this. I can track products, finishes, and expenses and break it down various ways. Are you doing all the work yourself? Assuming you are working with a builder they should help you through this process. The nice thing about the self made sheet is you can adjust for where something is just labor and figure that cost or, or adjust it when materials are included.
