coolmom715 Although each room had it's appeal, I do love the Hall and the living room the most. The paint and white sconcesin the hall and the chairs in the living room... Great job everyone.

acerebel I want them all in one apartment, preferrably in Manhattan or Chicago. :-)

ariadne I love them all so I went with the ever so scientific Eeny, meeny, miny, moe... The kitchen wins! :)

decoenthusiaste The hallway is stunning! Living room would have been second, but for the clock - not design in my book!

Christine Bandaly The bedroom is my least favorite but I love the rest...

houssaon Loved the living room, especially the artwork and the mirror. It seems like a very livable space.

harltonnj Good thing we are all different....I love the bedroom

shecarves My favourite is the Dining room. It seems so simple in it's elegance. I definitely could live with that.

Manon Floreat I like the idea of the Library, but am a little put off by the inaccessibility of the lower bookcase shelves. Despite being dark, it has really nice natural light. I could have a long deep think, a nap or a good read here in equal comfort.

Darlene Brill I like the '50 Shades of Grey' Foyer :)

Samantha Chilcutt_Crosby The hallway is simply...stunning. Every element of design is executed beautifully. This room made me want to see the rest of the home, and every room was a pleasant surprise.

irondoors4u I like the Dining room best

Jubi Arriola_Headley I chose the dining room, because it felt the most balanced in its use of black. That room works in every way. Stunning. All the other main rooms felt like there might be a bit TOO much black, at least for my taste. That said, I have to give a very close second place to the hallway - that laquer finish on the walls? Ridiculous (in a good way that is).

Emily Hurley I just went with the bedroom. Loved it!

groveraxle They are all lovely...for someone else. Personally, I wouldn't want to come home to all that drama.

carolannr The only room I really like is the living room - the floor and the chairs make it seem warmer and more convivial than the others. The rest are almost too stark - I would add a spark of color like red roses instead of cream in the hallway. The kitchen actually feels uncomfortably cold with all that marble.

annsliee I love the hallway, its simplistic and classy! I can see myself greeting guests for wine, then dinner.

ajnz833 I didn't like any so I couldn't vote 8*( . The kitchen -cookie-cutter with a can of black paint, like a before/after shot. The bed -too disco, the dining room -untouchable; the living room -a waiting room, the entry -a lobby corner in a condo residence.

golden2002 I painted my bedroom in this color. It is stunning. The ceiling is a tray celing, so the lip of the tray is a lighter gray than the walls. We love it.

basmalino My favorite is the Dining room although it is not piratical i like the hallway

debmarkey Hallway...stunning table!!!

Second Glance Design, LLC Not the biggest fan of black, but the livingroom is tolerable with the creamy-gold secondary color, and the bright light from the bank of windows...

D John Design Such a dark bold color, beautiful to look at for short periods of time. However, hard to live with for long periods of time. If you are bold enough to go black, would put it in the dining room. It looks elegant and it is not a room you use all day long.

kittikatmargaret The living room / library feels the most comfortable . The room looks like it would get a lot of daylight so as not to be depressing. The evening lights would make for a cozy time in front of the fire.

olldroo I am too much of a colour person to live with this much black. Colour lifts my mood and makes me happy. I don't mind dark colours in dining rooms, I think it sets a lovely intimate mood so I guess I could handle the black there the best. DEFINITELY not the bedroom, I would feel like I had died and was waiting in a funeral home for my final voyage.

judygilpin My favorite was the library/living room. The large clock and 2 light colored chairs lift it out of the darkness. Very regal looking room.

jwaistell I recently painted my kitchen island a dark blue and while I love the color, it shows every speck of dirt, dust and food. I think black kitchen cabinets would be lovely when they're clean, but tough to keep that way.

judyoliver dining room is elegant yet welcoming---love the silhouette chairs, and find them very comfortable seating. the abstract zebra print on the armchairs gives the room that slightly offbeat touch....oh, and did I mention, I love animal prints...from full out tacky to super chic.

sixbees Living room gets my vote... bathed in natural light even though it's black.

lyseestar Fearful people hate black paint.

Reico Kitchen & Bath Love the library/living room! Most of the others were just too dark.

Patti Carlson We did our kitchen walls in black, including the T&G backsplash, love it!

Contempo Space We get asked for lots of black entertainment centers, presumably since they often go into larger spaces such as the living room, basement or master bedroom.

It's tougher to get away with black as the room gets smaller, seems to be the rule. Of course there are always exceptions, it's all about creativity!

momof5x I have had a black and gold bedroom set in the past and it was very nice. All the pics above are very nice but for me I couldn't have black on the walls as I am one that goes more for cream on the walls, I don't mind it on some furniture pieces though. Having said that I have found some beautiful items in black and white damask recently even bedding which I really like.

Margaret Phillips I think I'm wacky I love light steaming everywhere but love dark colors. I like the kitchen best.

Paradise Restored Landscaping & Exterior Design You hooked me back in to look 'em over again - thinking I like the living room this time!
