olldbobbi Without adding any plants or shutters or trim, get some paint and go for some contrast, right now all the colors are light and they blend together. Your house looks beige on my monitor; get some dark chocolate brown paint, and paint the garage doors, the second floor balconey, the supports and the porch floor. Paint your front door a deep brownish red. Paint the porch ceiling a light blue to keep bugs away. Then step back and look at it and see if you still want to add trim and shutters and landscaping!

Accentuate the front entry using a walkway with materials that blend with the color and style of your home. May want to add a secondary walkway connection to the driveway. Keep view to front door open and inviting. Soften the foundation with low/medium size shrubs. Frame the home with taller plants toward the corners. Add groundcover or perennials to create layers, texture and seasonal interest. Low voltage lighting will create added beauty and drama at night.
