Dytecture White window frames would be great for an airy and modern space.

carina18 Thanks for the feedback, however our walls will be in wood (light pine color) , I am afraid that white would not fit (but probably am wrong) . g I just feel that dark windows will give the place more character .But maybe the effect of dark window frames make the room dark and small? That is what I would like to avoid.
I have attached a picture to show you the color of the wood and the ceiling .

olldbobbi In your dilemma, you asked if white or gray trim would be better, but now you don't want white so I'm confused!

carina18 No dont get me wrong , the picture that I received did not reflect my future house that is why. But what do you think Bobbi ?

olldbobbi I think you should go with unpainted wood, and stain it to match the pine walls. The walls give it a rustic feel and I don't believe any color paint will enhance that.

carina18 thanks, I taught about that.-i think it would be very nice the only hick up for me was will still look contemporary

gluestick For a contemporary look, you could try steel window frames. The trick is to keep them fairly thin so that they don't block much light. Lots of photos here: http://www.houzz.com/steel-window-frames

olldbobbi carina, to me your furnishings look more contemporary than your walls. Wood is universal, I believe you will be fine with stained trim.

carina18 Hi, just to keep you updated I decided to choose for silver grey /metallic colored wooden windows. As I have no clue how it would look like- I have asked some samples! let see ... what do you think ? It just drives me crazy ,I have spent the last 3 days looking at window frames - I hope this would be a good choice as I want something a bit unusual
