Seeking source for vinyl porch baluster (flat not spindles) and running dormer trim
I am remodeling an old Victorian farm house and would like to find vinyl/synthetic balusters for the porch as well as running trim boards for the large gables. Any resources would be greatly appreciated!

Elyn's Library We discovered AZEK when we were looking for vinyl / PVC trim for our remodel. Great stuff. Easy to work with, zillions (approximately) of different configurations, assorted colors, and you'll never have to paint - unless you want to.

victorianbungalowranch Please take lots of pictures before you rip out all the old stuff. The detais and moldings should be documented, and replicated as close as possible. Modern materials tend to look very flat, and without the trim and old profiles, it just doesn't look the same. It is great to do this anytime you change something on a house and keep all the records in a binder for before and after.
