Need help with furniture layout and colours in this room
avila2012
November 5, 2012 in Design Dilemma
This London sitting room is now a blank canvas ready for idea of furniture layout and colour scheme ideas. The area fireplace (dust sheeted) is quite shallow and no longer the focal point. I have attached photos of my leather sofa which has 2 matching armchairs and footstool, 2 cream fabric sofas, a terracotta rug and the rest is for your imagination. The photo is taken from the garden through the window.... Your comments would be soo appreciated. Cheers!

One option is to keep the clean and freshness of the room with simple but classic decoration.

I like combining old and new. Here are a few ideas for the entry to get you started. Modern art over fireplace with logs arranged in a funky style (photo) Reservoir Living Room

On wall to right of fireplace: modern console table & mIrror. Grass cloth wall paper on wall. EAST SIDE RESIDENCE
