Changing exterior trim color
We are getting ready to have the exterior trim on our home repainted because it desperately needs it. The siding, however, still looks good and because I still like the color, I'm not having it redone. Originally I thought I would just stick to the same beige trim color, but I'm wondering if anyone has any suggestions for maybe a change in color just to give us a new look. I mean, if the cost is the same, might as well spice it up a bit :) Please keep in mind that my front door and shutters will remain black. Also, my windows are not wood windows, therefore the white gridlines will remain.

TanCalGal I'd paint all trim the same white as the windows

olldcan Are you referring to just window trim, if so I'd keep it the cream colour. If your doing all the trim, fascia, bannister, newell post etc. I'd incorporate some more black, just to punch it up a bit. Your home is beautiful :)

nevadan I think your house has about as much spice as it can stand - any morer spice and you will have Gingerbread!

Amy E Candace, I'm repainting all of the trim. What would you paint black to further incorporate it?

olldcan The fascia or the recessed trim on the gable above the arched window. That area needs a punch of black. The hand and base of your rail (leave the balusters cream) and the tall newell posts.
