Large Fla room on lake
Live in a retirement community on the lake in a modular home, I use traditional furniture, cherry hardwood floors, cherry cabinets, black granite counter tops, open great room, Fla room has traditional too, I have 17 windows with mini blinds, would like a softer treatment, that isn't too costly.

TanCalGal Photo? The mini-blinds seem the best possible choice for light and privacy control. For the window areas where you want more softness, choose simple panel drapes the same (or almost same) color as walls.

Custom Home Planning Center I like the drapes, but would use cell type blinds for added heat control and a softer look.
