Roof Windows -need help
Friend of mine needs to convert their sun room to bedroom for her and her husband.Room has a roof windows and they are not easy to reach.Right now they are considering buying another house due to lack of space but it is of course very costly. I believe that it got to be some solution to close and open some kind of blinds or panels on roof windows to block strong light especially in the morning

sondramartina Can something be installed if windows are parallel with floor,(not on angle)?

Deborah Butler, Brickwood Builders You call it a roof window. I am attaching a link to the Velux roof window to see if that is what it really is or if it is just skylights.

In either case, they can be replaced with windows that have the built in mini-blinds or shades that can be controlled remotely. I don't know about attempting to retrofit the exisiting windows with something. That might be possible, but we have not tried it.

Judy M sounds like they need skylight blinds. They could also consider changing the skylights to the type with blinds already between the glass. Buying new skylights is cheaper than moving.
