White farmhouse sink
Hi. I love the large white single bowl farmhouse sinks seen in many of the photos here. But I have heard they chip easily. Can anyone recommend one that does not chip? Thanks!

Paulette I have the kohler whitehaven farm sink. I haven't used it as my kitchen remodel is not done...but the saleswoman banged on it with a heavy frying pan at the showroom. It left a little black mark that wiped right off. Hope this helps.

Paulette Is the sink cast iron? Does the enamel actually chip?

feeny We had a cast iron sink with white enamel finish that lasted 30 years without chipping. It looked like new. We only replaced it (and donated it to the Habitat for Humanity resale store) because we were redoing the kitchen and wanted to put in an undermount sink instead. So we bought a Kohler cast iron undermount sink with white enamel finish and have had no trouble with this one chipping either.

Monique Jacqueline Design Kohler, Porcher, and Rohl are fabulous lines! I am an interior designer and have stuck with these three lines and have never been disappointed or have left anyone disappointed! Also, note that you can install farm sinks as undermounts! I am a huge fan over undermount sinks for many reasons!
Hope this helps!
Cheers!
