Media Decor Several years ago I bought a similar table. It was imported unfinished from England. We had it faux painted and it is great. The bad news is I purchased it in Ft Lauderdale. If interested, i can see if that company is still there.
Madeline I'm sure there's a joke there: verifying the provenance of a Provence table. However, getting down to business I have a table just like that but not painted and it is (or was seven years or so ago) made by Pennsylvania House. It is not expensive (we weren't sure we'd want to take it with us when we ret'd to CA) maybe less than $1500; and it is sold with as an Italian farm table. If I can easily find the literature I will let you know the exact name of the grouping -- in addition to chairs, there are sideboards, credenzas and such. Good luck with your search.
Madeline Another thought consignment furniture stores here in the Jacksonville are always have one or two sets of tables (and chairs) like this on the selling floor. The chairs and usual cane backed. They could easily be painted and/or reupholstered to your liking.
cathyjoco I have an antique table (stained in brown) with legs and sides almost identical to this. I purchased it from a large country french antique dealer on the West Coast. My chairs are similar to the yellow, with rush seats. I have the seen the table with the name - Refractory Table, because the leaves are under the table top and slide out.
greenthumb2 I was trying to establish a point about quality. Bassett is made in china with something not quite wood. So, for those looking on Houzz for something of quality, sometimes asking someone to build a table in the US is acceptable.
Madelinehttp://www.ncfurniture.com/Lexington-Granada-Dining-Table/347877-101/ItemInformation.aspx This is a Lexington that is a bit more formal than the original photo, as it has carved legs and pretty details on the sides. I checked Penn. House and it no longer makes the table I have. I will take a photo tomorrow and have my husband give me a tutorial on uploading it.

And works well with their Chapelle dining chairs (which are also similar to the ones in the photograph you posted):
