Need a background information for a "chic style" interior.
Just curious about the roots of this style, any other link info other than the Wikipedia meaning about this? thank you.

Annie Nozawa Hi there, do you mean "shabby chic" style? That's the only official _____ chic interior design style that I've heard of. Other times I've heard of a chic style or chic design or chic interior, it really just means posh and stylish, and is a pretty subjective term depending on who's using the expression. You might be able to nail down more context for what you're looking for by searching on Houzz for "transitional" style as well as "hollywood regency" - those are two ends of a "chic" spectrum.

Aggie Purvinska Chic, IMO ,is something that is fashionable, trendy, sophisticated and looks expensive with a potential for a classic.

myperspective Thanks for the information. Actually i've chosen prairie style where i incorporated a chic style to my project. I've seen the "Romantic Prairie Style" by Fifi O'niel and i have observed that the it opted more on the shabby chic look and thats not the design i really want to achieve, so i was looking for a broader description about it... Thank you.. HAPPY THANKSGIVING.
