New Office Space
This space is in a hallway between two bedrooms. Prior to renovation was bookshelves and cabinets which were virtually unused. We removed the one cabinet below on the right to accommodate an office chair. Installed left over wood flooring, installed new trim. We primed and painted the laminate hunter green counter a semi gloss white. Then finished painting the entire bookcase the same color of white in a satin finish. Love the new updated space, it is used on a daily basis now.

Paradise Restored Landscaping & Exterior Design PS - the white counter top looks soooooo good! Amazing you were able to paint over the hunter green!

Missy Caruso Thank you, we refurbished this nook in Feb of this year and the counter top still looks good. You have to use a bonding primer first and let it cure for about a week. I am rather impatient ;) so I think I waited 4 days before I painted it the white semi gloss.

Missy Caruso Sorry, I didn't see this question until today, we removed the cabinet by removing the screws attaching it to the wall and other cabinet. We then wedged a piece of wood under the counter to lift it slightly then pulled it out. It helped that there was no flooring under that cabinet. We laid the flooring after the cabinet was removed.
