Quality of LED Pot Lights
We are considering installing LED pot lights for their small clearance in our post and beam home (no attic), and for their efficiency, and are wondering how people on this site have found the colour rendition after installing. We were out in a restaurant last night that had all led drop down lighting and found our skin to look just a little 'off' - almost greenish.

Thank you for any feedback!

Eggleston Farkas Architects The light quality of LED fixtures is getting better all the time. You might also want to look at Juno's "warm dim" products. They're color rendition gets warmer when the light levels are lowered, simulating what happens with incandescent bulbs.

Custom Home Planning Center Use chip emitter LEDs for best quantity of light. Having pots cans with glass lens can help to adjust the color tones of this very white light.

Monique Jacqueline Design I have had good luck and have liked the Nora LED cans. As for the color of lighting, that is all dependent upon the brand of LED you use. You need a warm crisp LED bulb. Research prior to purchase. Cheers!

sandydl Thank you for the responses. My next step is to visit a lighting centre here that has a test gallery where you can see products in action. I appreciate the info v much.
