Is my bathroom plain?
I chose gloss black tile for the floor and up one wall.
All other walls are white.

Impala Black ( tile not granite but similar )

Any ideas to make it WOW?

AllThingsTile.com Nice looking tile. I'm assuming that the finish is polished. It really depends on placement and lighting. You do not want to see glares coming off of the wall and floor. What look and feel are you trying to achieve?

rayess I want to achieve this sort of look. a Wow Factor if you look at the tile in the photo it is a mosaic which adds so much interest.

do you think hanging a framed mosaic would be nice?

joaniek Looks like the lighting is key to giving you that "wow" factor since that's the thing that really pops in this room.

olldbobbi If you want to get away from an all black and white scheme, you can add accessories and towels to give it the wow factor. Red would be an obvious choice but turquoise works well too. I agree with joaniek lighting will be key. Do you have any pictures of your bathroom for us to work with?

Dytecture Not sure what color / material is the vanity, but a black and white bathroom scheme could be quite dramatic and simple.

rayess Hi Dytecture, The vanity is polyurethane white with white stone top. The pic you have attached is fab. I was trying to make it dramatic but as you can see in your pic the wall is textured ie a feature wall ...... which gives it that lift.

Dytecture A Mosaic art wall may be too permanent and personal especially when it's time to sell.

archer28 To make it "wow" add a bright shower rug. A bright yellow or blue will give it that " wow" factor.

rayess Hi Dytecture, What I meant was a mosaic frame as in the pic.

Carolyn Albert-Kincl Design I would not add another color to your black and white mix. Silver, yes, fabulous lighting, yes...well perhaps a single pink rose!

rayess Hi Carolyn, The bathroom pic you have attached looks amazing. I looked closer n the white wall is textured tile? Yes I think Silver would make it look fantastic. Will start looking for silver lights to make it Wow

Carolyn Albert-Kincl Design Silver can also be in chrome faucets and accessories, and in mirrors, and light fixtures.
