What colour internal doors go with a hickory floor
I am debating on whether to go for White doors or staining oak to get a close match to the hickory (dark) floor.

Dytecture Most white doors would look great against wood flooring regardless of the species.

feeny I agree with Dytecture that white would be an excellent choice. But if you end up deciding you want stained wood doors, they don't need to match the floors. In our house (built in 1920) all the trim is white, all the doors and bannisters are stained dark mahogany, and the floors are a medium-stained white oak. They look great together--better, IMO, than if they all matched. More often, the wood trim or doors are darker than the floor, but it can look good either way.
