decoenthusiaste Is this an architects rendering of where furniture should go, or is yours in this configuration? We do work better with photos if you'd post some once you move in. Then we can help your sort the space out with your furnishings.

Carolyn Albert-Kincl Design What is it that you do not like about the furniture arrangement which is shown on the plan? It looks quite workable to me, though I would eliminate the 2 seater sofa and would instead use 2 chairs with a small table between them.

dorina20 Thank you :) i love the idea of 2 chairs instead.I don't know what colors to use and the kitchen ,parquet color etc. It is a new house and it is empty. I will make photos of the house but am not an architect and don't have to much imagination.

Dytecture I agree the sofa looks a bit over-scaled, otherwise this might be the only logical furniture placement for this apartment especially if you want a place for TV in the living area.

Carolyn Albert-Kincl Design With an empty condo, you'll certainly be spending $10,000 to $20,000 minimum for furnishings for your new home. I think it would be highly beneficial to you to hire a local interior designer to help you with your selections. It's quite easy to make a $5000 mistake, which I'm sure you don't want to do.
Spending $1000 to $2000 on an interior designer will probably end up saving you money.
