Granite Grannies Hard to believe it's the same house. I particularly love the richness of the blue and that floor. What is the floor? The asymmetrical fireplace is great. The whole room has the perfect blend of traditional and contemporary.

Studio S Squared Architecture, Inc. The hanging screen at the foyer is very unique, love it. Perhaps paint the fireplace wall a darker color (gray?) so that the fireplace pops more?

elklaker Beautiful! We renovated a house with a similar floor plan. I am guessing that those beautiful floors were hidden under the carpet. Great job.

Lori Zarcone I will post pics with the furniture soon. The dividers are by Koziol and they are called Stixx partitions. It was great to find a place to use them in this house.

Lori Zarcone Granite Grannies, the floor is a refinished original red oak hardwood w/ Onyx McCormick stain. We love the way it turned out!

lisameier14 Love it!! Did you have spindles on the half wall? Looks very similar to what we have and I'm anxious to remove them. Was it difficult and did it damage the ceiling?
