Unique backsplash art - for your kitchen - inside or outside
Kiln-fired art is a wonderful compliment for your kitchen design. The look of grout lines is sometimes desired and allows much larger murals made with smaller tiles. In this case however, the customer wanted a single piece of porcelain. Dye sublimation tiles would not work well here since cleanup after cooking would be problematic. Kiln-fired tile is not affected by most cleaning agents. This would even work well for an outdoor kitchen since it is completely weatherproof and will never fade.

Annie Nozawa Hi! Is the glaze/sealing on this art tile also acid-resistant? I know lots of friends who prefer to clean their kitchens with vinegar and would love to know! Thanks!

Aesthetic Tile Imaging Yes, the surface is resistant to most common cleaning solutions - including vinegar - even much stronger acids. Also, many art tile providers will warn against using sanded grout, but this is not a problem with my work. Feel fee to call me if you have any further questions or concerns.
