Color selection?
I have my chair repainted and reupholstered just recently. Something just feels not right. Was it the color of the frame or the pattern or the color of the upholstery? Please comment. Thanks.

2dogssashatess well I like the shape of your chairs, but I would have thought the chairs are fairly ornate and that the fabric should be more conservative, Thats just my opinion. The white chair frames against the dark fabric is very high contrast and the big gold pattern is just too ornate in my opinion.

olldbobbi If you had the chairs painted black instead of white the fabric would probably work. I think a tapestry type fabric would work better, but it would have to have the stark white in it.
