wall color versus curtain color
ebkrDecember 3, 2012
I am redoing the master bedroom. I want a traditional, neutral look. I purchased Country Curtains Ottoman curtains in khaki. They have some texture and are a nice shade. White ceiling, trim and moldings. I want to paint the walls a tan/khaki color too, but not the exact same shade. I am thinking the walls should be a shade or two darker but have no idea how that would look. Any thoughts about this?

A couple shades darker would be fine. If you find it too plain...you could always add a decorative tassel to the curtains to add some more color.

Two shades darker should work very nicely. Or a shade lighter if you like.

Or the same color in a rich matte finish…Can't go wrong with neutrals.
