Did I pick the right paint colour?
Here's a pic again of the basement to redo. The black curtains are being replaced by off-white honey comb blinds. There is a couch on the wall across from the windows too.
The wall behind the fireplace will by Taiga by Benjamin Moore and the main wall colour will be Cable Knit (BM).
I'm hoping that feature walls are still good to do?

reginaeaster I love love the wall colors....not sure about that couch....maybe add a few solid color pillows on the couch to match the walls.

newbie Thank you, I will have to live with the hand-me-down couch but welcome all ideas to improve it!!
I'm can't wait to get started. I'm not much of a painter so I think I'll start in the bathrooms...

reginaeaster Well I think it can work by just adding some of the same color pillows on the couch and then if you can find a rug with a color from the couch and walls, that would be awesome...

Jayme Hobbs I do like the colors but I don't like the green wall there. Don't think the couches match very well, not to be rude in any way.
