Absolutely! You would have a choice of a painted black finish instead of stain (with sheen levels ranging from satin to high-gloss), or a semi-transparent black stain, which would look really dramatic.

The window treatment is exactly what I need for my master bath. Can you tell me where I can find the fabric or where I may go online to purchase it? It looks heavy enough to be private???

The fabric came from smith+noble, hope they still have it.
