Soffit colors!!
Grey roof, white windows, dark beige/clay brown siding and brown/grey stone. Now I'm debating on soffit trim color. White would match the windows but sometimes I feel like white soffits can make a house look gingerbread-like. I'm leaning towards using soffits the same color as the siding. Is that a bad idea with a dark grey roof? What are the design pros and cons of using contrasting soffits?

carolannr Having the soffits the same color as the siding will make them disappear against the house. It does make it more cohesive and more contemporary (and less like gingerbread).

olldbobbi As much as I hate to admit it I agree with judyg. White is the best choice.
