Is there a easy way to cover Pecky Cedar?
My mother's home has Pecky Cedar inside and out. Is there a way to cover this ugly wood or must we rip it out?

judyg Hi Amy. because I am probably your mother's age it is Pecky Cypress. Cool for its time, but not so great now. Rip it out; it is not worth anything (unless you were at Woodstock) and you can start fresh. Trust me. Been there, done that. :>)

Lisa Lucas Design I have to agree that riping it out will make the home value go up should you one day decide to resell it. Why live with ugly cedar when eventually some one will remove it because that is a look that will not quickly return -- we hope.
