Living room has 2 focal points, fireplace and built in entertainment center
Our family room has a fireplace flanked by french doors and on another wall a built in entertainment center. The room is also open to the kitchen via a counter high bar. Current seating is a sofa and loveseat. Looking to replace seating arrangement. Want to keep open feel.

I have attached two photos showing fireplaces and televisions in the same horizontal plane in a room. It seems to me to make it easier to look from one to the other (like reading). The space above the fireplace is where the eyes can go to "rest."
